Tottenham Hotspur should consider going back in for David Neres this summer.
The Brazilian was part of the Ajax side that stunned Real Madrid at the Bernabeu in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Neres grabbed the second goal of the game during the 4-1 win, latching onto a pass from the sublime Dusan Tadic before finishing past Thibaut Courtois.

Neres joined Ajax in January 2017 and has made 86 appearances for the club so far.
He has scored 23 goals and registered 30 assists, making him somewhat hot property from the Eredivisie.
His rapid development should surely prompt Tottenham to revisit the situation in the summer.
A Lamela upgrade?
Tottenham have been linked with Neres in the past – Calciomercato reported back in December 2017 that Spurs were keen on the livewire.
But he had only just joined Ajax, making a move around then highly unlikely.
Neres has now had time to develop, and the summer of 2019 could be Tottenham’s time to strike.
Erik Lamela started the currently season brightly, but has faded back into the shadows a bit.

In 2019 he is yet to register a single goal or assist, and is clearly not viewed as a crucial starter by Mauricio Pochettino.
The Argentinian has been at the club since 2013 but has never truly convinced. After shining against Real Madrid, maturing right winger Neres could be potential upgrade on the 27-year-old.
