Tottenham can sign Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar in January if they want, but only if they come up with £45m to tempt Inter into the sale.
That’s according to respected journalist Fabrizio Romano, who claims the Milan side are open to selling Skriniar, as long as the price is right.

Spurs have been linked with Skiniar for a number of months now and he is thought to still feature highly on Jose Mourinho’s wanted list this January and into the summer. ESPN claimed just a few days ago that this remains the case.
And Romano, speaking on his Here We Go Podcast, has claimed that Skriniar is there for the taking if Spurs find the money.
“Milan Skriniar’s situation hasn’t changed. Inter Milan needs money. If Spurs arrive tomorrow morning with £45m, Inter will sell him. The deal for Skiniar is up to Tottenham now.”
The Slovakian star is one of the best defenders in Europe and has made over 130 appearances for Inter Milan. He’s also a stalwart for his country, having won 33 caps already at the age of 25.
Pressure on Levy to provide the funds – TBR View
Daniel Levy backed Jose Mourinho to the hilt in the summer but whether he can find another £45m remains to be seen.

There are some players in the Spurs squad who may fetch a fee. Dele Alli and Davinson Sanchez are two who are out of the picture under Mourinho and could be sold to raise funds.
Mourinho seems very keen on adding Skriniar. And with Spurs flying in the league, the time might be right for Levy to full back his manager again to bring those elusive trophies to the club.
