Tottenham may get a boost in their pursuit of Eduardo Camavinga, with the young midfielder set to switch agents, sparking a scramble for his signature.
Football.London have claimed Spurs hold interest in a potential £54m deal for Camavinga, who is regarded as one of the hottest properties on the European market at the moment.

And Spurs could get a timely boost if things go to plan, with Gareth Bale’s agent, Jonathan Barnett, said to be among the big names looking to secure Camavinga to the books, according to AS.
Barnett was instrumental in negotiating the deal which saw Bale arrive back at Spurs this summer. Daniel Levy and Jose Mourinho, then, would be hopeful of a deal for Camavinga coming off if Barnett does get hold of Camavinga.

The youngster, who is still a teenager, has already made three appearances for the French national team. A regular for Rennes, the likes of Real Madrid and Juventus are also said to have heavily scouted Camavinga.

Camavinga will be courted by all the biggest agents in the world so Barnett may not even end up being his rep. However, it would offer some hope to Spurs if he does get him on the books.
But even then, Tottenham would need to front up the money to land the Frenchman and convince him that they are the team he should join ahead of Europe’s elite.
Any little boost is helpful though and with Bale expected to stay beyond this season, Spurs will be keeping fingers crossed that all the pieces fall into place.
