Tottenham are among the clubs wanting to sign Bologna defender Aaron Hickey this summer, with a host of Premier League clubs keeping tabs on the Scottish starlet.
Hickey has been doing well over in Serie A and has made a name for himself with Bologna since moving to the club.

But his form has attracted admiring glances from elsewhere, with 90Min reporting that Tottenham, as well as Arsenal, Liverpool, City, and Manchester United, are all keen on bringing Hickey to the Premier League. Hickey, who is still only 19, has played nearly 30 games for Bologna this season.
90Min reports that Hickey is happy with life in Italy as things stand. However, does see his next move as being to the Premier League and that has alerted Tottenham and more.
Hickey was on the books at Celtic as a youngster before making his name with Hearts. His form their got him the move to Bologna, where he has cemented himself in the first XI.

Antonio Conte will have his eye on the Italian market and there’s no doubt he’ll be well aware of Aaron Hickey and how he is doing. Whether or not Tottenham can get him ahead of the pack, though, remains to be seen.
But, if Spurs can land Hickey, they’ll be getting a top young player with room for improvement but also someone who can offer something in the here and now. The Guardian branded Hickey as ‘terrific’ previously, and he’s certainly lived up to that billing in Italy so far.
