Bryan Gil is a player that has struggled at Tottenham.
The £22m man has been at Spurs for a few years now, but he hasn’t really managed to settle in north London or in the Premier League.
Technically, Gil is a very talented player, but he’s physically lacking in a league where strength conquers all.
Speaking on The Spurs Chat Podcast, Sami Mokbel has been discussing the winger’s Tottenham future, and he says that Spurs are indeed trying to find a move for Gil before the month is out.

Spurs trying to find a move for Gil
The journalist replied when asked if Gil could leave this month.
“I think so, they’re trying, he’s another player who is way down in the pecking order when everyone is fit, and he won’t see much gametime. I still think there is a player in Bryan Gil, but I do see the hesitancy from managers to give him the gametime,” Mokbel said.
Best for all parties
It may be best for everyone involved if Gil leaves Tottenham this month.
The Spaniard can still make a career for himself elsewhere, but at Spurs, it just isn’t going to happen for him.
There’s way too much competition down that left wing now for him to get a run of games in the team, and Spurs are best off getting his wages off their bill and Gil is best off going playing football elsewhere.
Tottenham have done a good job in terms of chopping some of their deadwood this month as Eric Dier and Hugo Lloris have already left, and now, Gil may be the next player out the door.
This is certainly a situation to keep an eye on as we head towards the final stretch of the January transfer window.
