Tottenham are expected to bid for £29m player once they’ve made some sales

Tottenham have been slow movers in the summer transfer window so far with Archie Gray being the only notable addition so far.

Spurs haven’t been splashing the cash so far this summer, and there may be a reasonable explanation for the lack of movement at Tottenham.

Indeed, Spurs still have plenty of deadwood in their squad that needs shifting.

Emerson Royal is said to be close to a move to AC Milan, while Djed Spence, Giovani Lo Celso, Sergio Reguilon and Oliver Skipp have also been tipped to leave Spurs.

Once Tottenham can broker a few sales, there could be some activity in terms of incomings, and according to Sky Sports, Tottenham could bid for a £29m player once they sell a few players.

Tottenham could bid for Conor Gallagher once they have made sales.

According to Sky Sports, a Spurs bid for Conor Gallagher could be on the cards.

This update states that Chelsea are expecting Spurs to make an approach for Gallagher in the near future.

However, Tottenham do want to finalise some sales before they make this bid for Gallagher.

Tottenham sales could be done soon

Tottenham want to sell a few players before bidding for Gallagher, and it may not be long before Spurs are able to shift some of their deadwood.

AC Milan are said to be very close to agreeing a deal for Emerson Royal, while Sevilla are really pushing to sign Sergio Reguilon.

If Tottenham can agree both of those departures, perhaps they could then lodge a bid for Gallagher.

The England international has been linked with Spurs for a long time now, and with Atletico Madrid potentially closing in on signing the midfielder, now is the time that Spurs have to make their move.

Spurs need to accelerate these sales, otherwise, Atletico Madrid may beat them to the punch and get Gallagher signed up.
