Tottenham’s search for a new striker has led them all around the houses this summer.
Spurs have been linked with so many centre-forwards this summer.
Jonathan David is someone Tottenham are keen on, while Ivan Toney is said to be a player Spurs are looking at.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham are now interested in Dominic Solanke, and that is a very interesting link to say the least.
Solanke is on Spurs’ radar, and, interestingly, this link comes just a few months after Jamie O’Hare claimed the forward would be perfect for Tottenham.

What Jamie O’Hara has said about Dominic Solanke
The pundit claimed earlier this year that Solanke would be perfect for Tottenham and their style of play.
“Look, at the end of the season, if someone comes in for £80 to £90 million, then we’ll let you go and we can rebuild from there with a couple of decent players they can buy.
“But I can’t see how they’d let him go. I’d love him to be at Tottenham. I look at him and think he’s perfect for how we want to play.”
Dominic Solanke could be perfect
O’Hara is known for sometimes hyperbolising the ability of some players, especially when it comes to Tottenham, but he’s not too far wrong about Solanke here.
Indeed, Solanke’s style of play is almost perfect for Spurs.
The striker can run all day, and he has a great blend of pace and strength, allowing him to either run in behind to cause problems or to drop deep to be more creative.
Solanke is almost a brilliant blend of Toney and Jonathan David, and that makes him a very exciting prospect for Tottenham.
Of course, whether or not this deal ends up getting done remains to be seen, but this could be one of the signings of the summer if Spurs can get it over the line.
