Tottenham see their Champions League campaign hang in the balance following Tuesday’s 1-0 defeat at home to Ajax. Although the semi-final is finely poised, it will be a tough ask for Spurs to now progress.
The summer looks like being an exciting time for those of a Tottenham persuasion. Mauricio Pochettino hasn’t signed a player for two transfer windows and the next one looks like being busy.
The Spurs boss will probably look to offload several underperformers; whilst lots of players are in the process of being linked with moves to North London.

One of those players is Andrea Petagna of Atlanta who, according to TEAMtalk, is interesting Tottenham.
An Italian striker, Petagna has enjoyed a standout campaign on loan at SPAL where he has bagged 15 goals for the club.
Spurs will undoubtedly be in the market for a deputy to Harry Kane. The misfiring Fernando Llorente sees his contract expire in the summer and at 34 he is unlikely to receive another one.
Petagna is only 23-years-old and in signing him they could tie him down ahead of his best years. With Spurs likely to be battling it out in four competitions once again there will also be plenty of opportunities for him to play.

Llorente has done a job at times for Pochettino, but he is often wasteful in front of goal. Petagna would be an upgrade on the Spaniard and provide a more ruthless streak in deputising for star man Kane.
