Reports in Turkey are claiming that Vedat Muriqi is officially up for sale at Fenerbahce as the club look to bring in much-needed funds to balance their books and recruit new players.
The news could come as a particular interest to both Tottenham Hotspur and West Brom, who are both named as potential buyers for the player.
Sabah is claiming that Fenerbahce have decided to cash in on the Kosovo international, with an asking price set at €20 million (£18m).
Tottenham and West Brom, who have both been linked with the player previously, are named along with Lazio and Napoli as potentially interested parties.
Spurs have previously considered the frontman as a perfect back-up to Harry Kane. However, a report from A Spor in May suggested the only offer Tottenham have ever made for Muriqi came in at a paltry £4.5 million, way off this latest estimation.
West Brom have also been linked, with Slaven Bilic’s contacts in Turkey likely a major reason behind any interest. Now the Baggies have been promoted there is every chance a deal could actually materialise.
Muriqi has scored 17 goals in 36 games this season for the Turkish side and has also impressed for the Kosovo national team in recent times.
Tottenham need another striker and Muriqi could be a perfect supporting act for leading man Kane. However, Spurs will need to come back with a far better offer than the last one they reportedly came up with.
