Tottenham and Manchester City are the only two clubs who can raid Fiorentina and sign superstar striker Dusan Vlahovic. That is, according to ex-Fiorentina star Lorenzo Amoruso.
Vlahovic, 21, remains one of the most-wanted players in European football. Having netted 21 Serie A goals last season despite his age, he was offered the chance to be Fiorentina’s best-paid player ever.
But with his contract expiring in 2023, he turned the offer down. Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso has confirmed the club will sell him either in January, or next summer for the right price.
Tottenham and Manchester City have both been linked with a move to sign the Serbia international. His stunning form has continued this season, with a huge 17 goals in 18 games for La Viola.
Amoruso, who also played for Rangers, told RTV38 – as per Viola News – that the only two clubs he can see signing Vlahovic is Spurs or City. City need a striker, and Spurs have the Italian connections.
“City and Tottenham are the only two who can take him now, but he doesn’t want to leave in January. If this continues, the auction will go off anyway in the summer as the English teams have no problem offering insane figures.”

Amoruso on Vlahovic: Tottenham and Manchester City the only clubs?
Plenty of Premier League clubs have been linked. Arsenal are the main ones, but the Gunners are some way off Tottenham and City’s chances of getting him – despite sitting in sixth place.
City is obviously a more attractive option than Arsenal at the moment. Tottenham have Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici in place and that Italian connection, along with the stadium, will prove tempting.
Manchester United might need a striker, even Liverpool have been loosely linked. If Arsenal finish in the top six, or even top four, then the Gunners could also be in the hunt. Time will tell.
