Ryan Fraser has moved a step closer to leaving Bournemouth this summer with no more contract talks planned, according to the Daily Mirror.
The flying winger, who has 13 assists and eight goals to his name this season, is reportedly a target for both Tottenham and Arsenal and has handed them encouragement by stating his desire to leave.
Fraser has just over a year left on his current deal and apparently is ready to make the move to a bigger club after by far the best season of his career so far.
He was also benched for the 3-3 draw against Southampton on Saturday, hinting that Eddie Howe is well aware of his discontent.
Fraser is acutely aware that running his contract down lowers his value and makes him more attractive to the north London rivals, both of whom have been notoriously frugal in recent seasons.
He has been electric this season and both clubs could do with that sprinkling of pace and energy in their ranks.
The big challenge for the Scot will be repeating this season’s form but with the expectations of playing for a top six club on his shoulders.
But he looks to have made his intentions clear – he wants to leave – and it’s just a case of who wins the race for his signature.
