Everton ace Dominic Calvert-Lewin has waxed lyrical about Goodison Park teammate Richarlison, in conversation with the Toffees website.

Carlo Ancelotti’s charges have enjoyed a flawless start to the season, winning every one of their games in the Premier League and League Cup.

Richarlison opened his 2019-20 account with a brace against Fleetwood in the cup, having provided two assists against West Brom four days earlier.

The Brazilian then netted against Crystal Palace in the league and added another goal against West Ham in the cup, taking his tally to four goals and two assists for the campaign.

“He is a top player and improving every day,” Calvert-Lewin, speaking about Richarlison, told the Everton website.

“He has aspects to his game you can’t teach. For him – and me – you have to hone those skills you have and fine tune them to become a top player.

“He is electric and his workrate off the ball cannot be underestimated. As a winger, getting up and down the pitch and creating chances and scoring goals, he has everything.”

Alongside Calvert-Lewin’s nine goals from six games and James Rodriguez’s six goal contributions, the Everton front line is currently firing on all cylinders.

Ancelotti has struck a perfect balance with his summer signings hitting the ground running and last season’s players going from strength to strength, culminating in a perfect start to 2019-20.

Richarlison showed he was a cut above last season and, now flanked and supported by some superb and much-improved players, the best is surely yet to come from the £90,000-a-week ace.
