As the international break distracts us from Premier League life again, we’ve taken a look at and graded the Tottenham signings from the summer and the impact they’ve had so far.
Spurs had a busy summer and made a number of fine signings. The likes of Hojbjerg, Bale, and Reguilon all arriving, while experienced heads like Joe Hart also came into the fold.

Some have had bigger impacts than others so far. Jose Mourinho has opted to give more chances to some than others, with a number of those summer signings snatching their chance in the first XI.
But just who’s been the most impressive, and who’s not quite lived up to expectation yet?
Here are our grades for Tottenham’s summer signings so far this season.
Gareth Bale – C
The Real Madrid loanee is back in his second spell with Tottenham and is slowly getting back to his best. Crucially, he’s already scored a vital winning goal for Spurs, netting the winner against Brighton.
There is more to come from Bale, but it’s a solid start to life back in north London for the Welshman.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg – A*
Surely there can’t be many arguments here? The former Southampton skipper has been nothing short of superb since arriving.
Given he only cost around £25m, the £100k-a-week contract he is supposedly on looks more than worth it. Hojbjerg has been outstanding and is more or less the first name on the team-sheet in midfield.

Carlos Vinicius – D
Graded so low because we’ve hardly had any chance to see him as yet. Vinicius will get opportunities at some point but such is the form of Harry Kane that he is having to wait.
Still, he’ll have a role to play throughout the season and should ensure Kane remains fresh and ready to go.
Joe Hart – C
Just a very steady signing this from Mourinho. Hart is experienced to know his place in the team and there are no mentions of any sort of unrest or desire to force his way into the team.
He’s ideal to be working alongside Hugo Lloris and will prove a vital player in the campaign.
Sergio Reguilon – B+
The Spaniard has been excellent since arriving and seems to suit this team perfectly. Sound defensively but excellent in his delivery from wide areas going forward, Reguilon looks the real deal.
Behind Hojbjerg, this is probably Spurs’ best bit of business this summer.

Matt Doherty – B-
Doherty has just started to come into life after looking a bit shell-shocked at times following his move from Wolves.
This may have been closer to a C but his contribution for the crucial winning goal at West Brom yesterday has given him a timely boost.
Joe Rodon – D
Like Vinicius, we haven’t really seen much of Joe Rodon yet to really make an informed decision or grade his performances.
Still, he’s young, hungry, and has potential. Rodon should prove a fine signing and was one of the more surprising names to arrive at the club near the end of the window.
