‘Top half PL football next season’: Some West Brom fans in awe of one player’s display at Burnley
A number of West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to Twitter to praise Okay Yokuslu’s display for the Baggies on Saturday.
The Turkey international joined West Brom on loan from Celta Vigo in January and has made three appearances to date for Sam Allardyce’s side.
West Brom followed up their 1-1 draw with Manchester United last week with a 0-0 stalemate at Burnley which, truth be told, the visitors should have won.

Despite Semi Ajayi’s sending off after just half an hour and the hosts dominating possession, the Baggies had numerous chances to break the deadlock.
Matheus Pereira spurned several chances, while Mbaye Diagne, Darnell Furlong and Maitland-Niles also came close to finding the back of the net.
Although Albion struggled in the final third, Yokuslu certainly did his bit in the middle of the park.
The 26-year-old helped to get his side moving on the counter-attack and was great defensively, weighing in with numerous firm challenges against his opponents.
Here is what some West Brom fans were saying on social media:
Okay Yokuslu – best footballer on the pitch today #wba

And that Ladies and Gentleman is one of the reasons we are going down, not clinical enough. If we can get Yokuslu for the championship 😍
