Cesar Azpilicueta – Chelsea

Another Chelsea player, another disappointment from last season, but still one of the best in the premier league when in form, Cesar offers Barcelona what they need – defensively and offensively as a full-back.

It seems unlikely that Barcalona will sign two full backs, so it could be a case of either Azpilicueta or Hector Bellerin if they so choose.

Affectionately known as ‘Dave’ by the Stamford Bridge faithful, he offers more experience than Bellerin and is a Premier League champion, so may be a more viable option.

Talented and Spanish, it seems another good fit for Barcelona. With the signing of Samuel Umtiti already confirmed, one of these two could make a fresh combination in the back line of Barcelona, increasing the firepower already held at the Spanish Champions as they make themselves ready for another season, and another shot at Champions League glory.
