'Top class player on our hands': Some Rangers fans in awe of 22-year-old's Sunday display

Glasgow Rangers ace Ianis Hagi was in action for Romania on Sunday night and the Ibrox ace delivered an impressive display.

The Gers star started on the wing as his country faced Liechtenstein in World Cup qualifying.

In the 18th minute, Hagi provided an inch-perfect cross from the left for Christian Manea to nod home.

Romania won 2-0, having taken the lead earlier through Alin Tosca, and both goals came from defenders.

Rangers and Romania fans alike sung Hagi’s praises during and after the game:

Hagi has won 20 caps for his nation, registering one goal and two assists.

The 22-year-old has made 64 appearances for Rangers, with 13 goals and 18 assists under his belt.

This season, Hagi has claimed two goals and one assist for the Light Blues in six appearances.

Romania face North Macedonia away on Wednesday before Rangers return to action at St Johnstone on Saturday.
