'Too good to be true': Some Arsenal fans love link to ace who'd be 'a great partner to Partey'
The 22-year-old American international is an option for the Gunners this summer. Adams’ ability to play both at right-back and central midfield is an alluring attribute for Arsenal.
The north London side are likely to sell Hector Bellerin as well as a number of central midfielders this summer. As reported by Football London, Granit Xhaka and Matteo Guendouzi are close to leaving Arsenal.
Indeed, the Gunners are likely to sign a central midfielder in the transfer window. As per the Athletic report, R.S.C. Anderlecht youngster Albert Sambi Lokonga is also an option for Arsenal.
Whilst most transfer rumours so far this year have been met with groans and second thoughts from Arsenal fans, supporters are buzzing about the news that the club are keen on Adams.
A golden era of American talent
The youngster is a part of a current crop of American youngsters who are impressing in Europe at some of the biggest clubs on the continent. Indeed, the likes of Weston McKennie, Sergino Dest and Christian Pulisic all have starring roles with their teams.
This pool of talent was further cemented when the US beat Mexico this week to win the inaugural CONCACAF Nations League, with Pulsic scoring a 114th minute winner to win the competition for America.
