A number of Everton fans have taken to Twitter to praise Crystal Palace winger Eberechi Eze for his efforts in Monday’s Premier League draw between the Toffees and the Eagles at Goodison Park.

The 22-year-old joined Palace last summer for a reported £17million and has been superb for Roy Hodgson’s side.

Eze has made 29 appearances for the Eagles, registering three goals and three assists, and is regularly one of the biggest threats for his side going forward.

The England Under-21 international gave Everton’s defence a torrid time on Monday night, looking almost impossible to dispossess when he got going.

Eze weighed in with two efforts on target, completed two dribbles, and played six accurate long balls (Whoscored).

He was so impressive against Everton that some Toffees fans hailed his efforts, tipping him to become a top player:

Everton took the lead through James Rodriguez on 56 minutes, but Michy Batshuayi equalised for the visitors four minutes from time.

Carlo Ancelotti’s charges are next in action on Monday night against Brighton, while Palace host Chelsea on Saturday.
