'Too cold': Arsenal fans loved what Folarin Balogun did for under-23s against Brighton

Arsenal head into this weekend in high spirits at first-team level, with three league wins on the spin ensuring the Gunners are full of confidence.

Mikel Arteta’s side face Brighton and Hove Albion, themselves a team in form under Graham Potter, in what will certainly be a tricky encounter for the North Londoners.

Last night saw the dress rehearsal, if you will, as the Arsenal under-23s took on Brighton at The Emirates. And to say there was no problem in the young Gunners getting a result, would be an understatement.

Folarin Balogun scored twice to continues his impressive form. A number of other starlets, including Charlie Patino, also impressed again.

However, away from the goals, it was a certain piece of magic from the aforementioned Balogun which caught the attention of Arsenal fans on social media.

Balogun’s sublime piece of skill saw him burst past the Brighton defender with ease. He was then fouled (something he made a meal of in all honesty) and won himself and his team a penalty. Balogun then duly dispatched the spot-kick.

But it was the moment of magic that had Arsenal fans talking. Twitter was awash with comments on the moment, with many feeling Balogun needs a loan move now.
