Tony Dorigo has warned Leeds United about their form after losing to Brentford and is concerned ahead of the play-offs.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side were beaten 2-0 away at Brentford on Monday, which means they could end up missing out on automatic promotion.
The Whites stay third in the Championship table and are three points behind Sheffield United with only two games left.
As Sheffield United boast a much superior goal difference, they could just need one win in their remaining two games and face already relegated Ipswich Town at home next.
Meanwhile, leaders Norwich City are five points clear of Leeds and are surely going to get over the line to secure a Premier League return.
Ex-Leeds player Dorigo, who was appearing as a pundit on Sky Sports, was disappointed by his former team in their loss to Brentford and sent his warning to the team.
“Certainly very disappointing. I expected the second 45 to be a lot more intense, but it just wasn’t there,” Dorigo said on Sky Sports’ Football channel (7:25pm, 22 April).
“Suddenly the pressure started to wear heavy on the Leeds players. Look at how many chances we had, didn’t make the keeper save too many. Just got to be careful now it doesn’t run into the last few games and what looks like that play-offs.”

TBR’S View:
It looks like Leeds may be the unlucky side to miss out on automatic promotion after being firmly in the picture all season.
The Yorkshire giants need to try win their final two games in case their rivals slip up, but it’s looking like the play-offs may be in store for them.
Leeds face an Aston Villa team next that have won 10 games on the bounce to catapult into the top six and they could be a potential play-off final opponent.
As it stands the Whites would face Derby County in the semi-finals, while Villa and West Brom would meet in the other semi-final.
Leeds players quickly need to dust themselves down despite the recent disappointment and try rediscover their best goalscoring form in the final two matches in case of a slip up, but at the very least pick up some valuable form ahead of the play-offs.
