talkSPORT pundit Tony Cascarino has backed an Everton move for in-form Southampton striker Danny Ings.
The 27-year-old was on target once again for the Saints weekend, with Aston Villa his latest victims.
Ings scored twice to lift Southampton out of the relegation zone, trading places with Villa in the Premier League table in the process.

His brace means he now has 13 in all competitions for the club, suggesting he has well and truly bounced back from his struggles with injury over the past few years.
In the eyes of Cascarino, Ings – formerly of Everton’s bitter rivals Liverpool of course – would be an ideal fit at Goodison Park.
After also mentioning Raul Jimenez of Wolverhampton Wanderers, he said: “I’d be trying to get Danny Ings out of Southampton. Sorry Southampton fans.

“You’re asking me what I’m thinking, who I’d want to go and get.
“I had this conversation with you probably six weeks ago and I said the one person who might keep Southampton up with his goals will be Danny Ings. That’s the one I’d be looking at.
“I think he’s been terrific, he’s had two bad injuries, he’s come through it like Callum Wilson has done, he’s come through them injuries.”
TBR’s view – Ings would be a great signing
It would surely never happen, but Ings would be a brilliant addition for Everton.

Ings has been proving he is a brilliant poacher, and has an impressive turn of pace to get in behind defenders.
Everton have been lacking in the final third again so far this year, and Ings would undoubtedly improve productivity.
The Liverpool association surely makes any move nearly impossible, though.
