Tony Cascarino reckons Watford attacker Gerard Deulofeu would be a solid signing for Liverpool.
The Spaniard stood out against the Reds at Anfield on Saturday, and might have helped the visitors to an unlikely draw or win on another day.

The 25-year-old forced Alisson into a fine save and also set up Ismaila Sarr for a chance.
It wasn’t to be for the Premier League’s bottom club, with Liverpool running out eventual 2-0 winners.
Cascarino was fully impressed with Deulofeu’s display though, and said of the former Everton man on talkSPORT: “I could see him in the Liverpool team. We talk about players who Liverpool might look for further down the line.

“I know he’s been at Barcelona and Everton but he’s that type of player and would fit perfectly into their [Liverpool’s] system.
“He probably wouldn’t make the starting line-up but like [Xherdan] Shaqiri, he could come in and do a fabulous job because he really hurts you.”
Deulofeu joined the Hornets on loan in January 2018, before making his move to Vicarage Road permanent for £15 million (£11.5 million + £3.5 million add-ons, Sky Sports) the following summer.
TBR’s view – Liverpool don’t have much need
Right now, Liverpool don’t really need someone like Deulofeu.

Jurgen Klopp has good options for the positions that he plays, and there is also a lot of talk at the moment about Takumi Minamino joining next month.
Deulofeu is undoubtedly a talent who probably has the ability to play for a bigger club than Watford.
Whether he’d be totally accepted as a signing at Anfield though would be another thing given his links to Everton.
