Arsenal are enjoying a bright season with the Premier League title and the Champions League trophy still up for grabs.
The Gunners currently sit second in the table, having slipped off spot due to Manchester City playing – and winning – on Saturday.
Arsenal are next in action on Sunday, when they host Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium. They’ll be eager to swiftly return to the summit.
Mikel Arteta has overseen a major rebuilding job at the Emirates Stadium, turning Arsenal from a mid-to-lower top-half side into a title challenger.
The Spaniard has overhauled the Gunners squad, clearing out players he felt didn’t match his standards, bringing in top talents and, crucially, retaining them.

One such talent is Bukayo Saka. The 22-year-old is been the biggest Arsenal academy success story in years, becoming indispensable for club and country.
And pundit Tony Cascarino, writing in The Times, couldn’t sing Saka’s praises highly enough.
What has Tony Cascarino said about Arsenal star Bukayo Saka?
Cascarino wrote: “If you think back to those three England players who failed to score from the spot in the European Championship final shoot-out defeat by Italy, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho have gone backwards but Saka has flourished.
“He has become ten feet tall, saying: ‘Yes I got stick but I’ll show them’. He stays wide much more than most of the other players on this list, and he also tracks back a lot, so his numbers for goals and assists are extraordinary.”

There shouldn’t be any doubt as to Saka’s world-class status. His stats this season are once outstanding, ranking him among the very best in the division.
At 22 years of age, it remains to be seen just how much better Saka can become. His ceiling is incredibly high so it’ll be exciting to see.
And to think Saka has already clocked up over 200 competitive appearances for Arsenal. He could well be breaking records on that front in the coming years.
