'Tomorrow possibly': Some Leeds fans buzzing over U23 omission ahead of Watford clash
A number of Leeds United fans have welcomed Joe Gelhardt’s omission from the Whites Under-23s squad tonight.
Mark Jackson’s charges are in Premier League 2 action away at Leicester, but the 19-year-old is not involved.
This suggests Gelhardt could once again be involved in the Leeds senior squad.
The young striker was on the bench for last week’s Premier League loss to West Ham, but didn’t come on.
Gelhardt has recently made his senior Leeds debut, featuring against Fulham in the Carabao Cup.
Could Saturday’s meeting with Watford see him finally make his Premier League debut?
Some Leeds fans hope this is the case:

Gelhardt only arrived at Elland Road in August last year but his tally at age level for the Whites Under-23s is nothing short of superb.
So far, the 19-year-old has made 23 appearances for Leeds U23s, and has registered an impressive 17 goals and four assists.
Sam Greenwood and Crysencio Summerville were also not included in Jackson’s squad, suggesting they could also be in the squad against Watford.
