The Todd Cantwell to Leeds United links have been fizzling out over the last week of so, and the player now looks very unlikely to make a late switch to Elland Road if his latest Instagram Story is anything to go by.
The Norwich City midfielder had reportedly emerged as a potential target for the Whites, with EFL players still able to transfer until the October 16 deadline.
A report from The Telegraph last month had claimed that Leeds had actually opened talks over Cantwell, who was a standout performer for the Canaries in 2019/20.

Cantwell impressed with his technical quality and vision, and has been expected to seal an exit from Carrow Road having proven himself in the Premier League.
But a departure from the club does not seem to be on the player’s mind, as he took to Instagram on Saturday night.
He posted a short video clip of him in Norwich colours along with the caption ‘I love my club. We rise together’.
TBR’s View – Cantwell to stay put?
It very much seems like a message to suggest he won’t be leaving this window.

To post something like that must suggest he is confident – otherwise he’d upset a lot of people if he did then move to another club.
Leeds failed to signed Michael Cuisance, and it looks like they won’t be getting Cantwell.
Perhaps the Whites will have no choice but to wait to address the situation in January.
