Up until now, Arsenal’s summer transfer window has been an unprecedented success.
Sporting director Andrea Berta has finally delivered the striker Arsenal have been craving in the shape of Viktor Gyokeres.
And when the new season begins, Mikel Arteta will suddenly have a raft of new players at his disposal — Arsenal’s squad depth has improved dramatically.
Along with Christian Norgaard and Cristhian Mosquera, Noni Madueke will also be an exciting addition for Arteta to use from the bench, that’s if he’s not starting games immediately.

Of course, Martin Zubimendi will immediately claim a starting role himself, a number six who’s already established as one of the best in European football.
Chelsea’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall deal proves a big problem for Arsenal
That being said, the next phase of Arsenal’s transfer window might prove a little bit more tricky.
In order for Arsenal to buy Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace, they might first need to move on some players on the periphery of Arteta’s squad.
TBR Football recently revealed that Arsenal want to sell several players before the transfer window closes.
But the Gunners currently seem quite far away from selling the likes of Fabio Vieira or Oleksandr Zinchenko, even if both are available.

Selling players for adequate fees has been a problem that’s plagued Arsenal for years, particularly during Edu Gaspar’s time at the helm.
And Arsenal only need to look across London to Chelsea for an example of the kind of money they should be recouping for their peripheral players.
In addition to a reported £20m deal to sell Armando Broja to Burnley, Todd Boehly’s Chelsea are also about to recoup £25m for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who is set to join Everton for an initial £25m.
Andrea Berta needs to fix Edu Gaspar’s biggest mistake at Arsenal
Despite Arsenal achieving good value deals for the likes of Kepa Arrizabalaga and Mosquera when they joined the club, they don’t have the same efficiency when it comes to those leaving.
And were Broja and Dewsbury-Hall being sold by Arsenal this summer, it doesn’t seem unfair to suggest that the Gunners would be recouping less.
Of course, Berta is still in his very early days at Arsenal — he can’t be judged on the players he’s sold yet.
But it’s a problem for Arsenal, who didn’t recoup the right money when they sold the likes of Granit Xhaka and Aaron Ramsdale.
Xhaka has returned to the Premier League with Sunderland now, and it’s clear that he was offloaded to Bayer Leverkusen in his prime years far too cheaply.
And if Arsenal sell Jakub Kiwior or players similar this summer, they simply have to demand fees that are truly befitting of their quality — even if they are surplus to requirements at the Emirates.
