Spurs fans have reacted to Fabrizio Romano’s tweet in which he relays information about Dusan Vlahovic’s future.
It’s not exactly great news for Tottenham, it has to be said.
Calciomercato reported last month that Spurs were in pursuit of the 21-year-old striker and had made a bid.
Vlahovic was named Serie A’s Best Young Player in 2020-21 after his fine form for Fiorentina.

The Serbia international netted 21 goals in 40 appearances for the Viola last season.
As such, it’s unsurprising to hear that new Spurs director Fabio Paratici is reportedly eager to bring Vlahovic to N17.
However, Fiorentina director Joe Barone may well have rained on Tottenham’s parade.
“Vlahovic is a Fiorentina player,” Football Italia quotes Barone as saying.
“He has two years on his contract and we are working constantly with his agent over an extension.”
Romano also shared Barone’s words – slightly different as they would have been translated from Italian – on his Twitter feed.
And Tottenham fans expressed their disappointment at potentially seeing another target edge further out of sight.
