Ange Postecoglou has now been sharing what he told his Tottenham Hotspur coaching staff in wake of a dramatic defeat to Chelsea a few weeks ago.
Postecoglou was speaking to Mark Schwarzer for Optus Sport and said he saw the moment as a pivotal one.

The manager thought the chaos eventually demonstrated how together this Spurs team was, and how much they are buying into the new philosophy.
And as a result, Postecoglou told his Tottenham staff that they couldn’t flinch in their ideas despite the heavy loss to Chelsea.
Postecoglou said: “But even for the other coaches, they were kind of, as flat as we were because we lost the game, we don’t like losing, and then we knew the kind of fallout from it in terms of personnel, what it was going to do to us.
“They were, they were thinking, well, and that’s the kind of feedback I gave to the coaches.
“It’s a great opportunity we’ve got, we’ve got guys here who are now all in on what we want to do.
“So now they’re going to be looking at what we’re doing next you know, because if we flinch, well they’re going to start questioning, why did we play a high line? Why were we so aggressive with nine men?
“Why didn’t we just sit back and sort of try and absorb the pressure?
“So what we do from now becomes really, really important.
“So, you know, to be honest, that night in isolation I thought would have been a great night for us if we didn’t have the fallout.”

Of course, some may then wonder why Spurs didn’t seem to have the same philosophy when losing late on to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
And rather than being a stylistic choice, it seemed that Tottenham’s XI on the day simply couldn’t sustain the tactical brief.

Eric Dier and Ben Davies formed a new partnership in very difficult circumstances, and understandably couldn’t adapt immediately.
However, with the benefit of the international break, Postecoglou and his Tottenham staff will want to see an improvement.
It does seem as if Spurs fans may be treated to an entirely new midfield when Aston Villa come to visit on Sunday.
Rodrigo Bentancur now looks in good shape after some important minutes for Uruguay.
Moreover, Giovani Lo Celso was brilliant when starting for Argentina against Brazil.
These next few weeks will be a big test for Tottenham, and Postecoglou will learn a lot about his squad.
