Rangers loanee Greg Docherty scored once again for Shrewsbury Town to add to his growing reputation.

In Monday’s League One clash between Shrewsbury and Oxford United, Docherty got on the scoresheet but could not prevent a 3-2 loss.

The Scotland under-21 midfielder has now hit double figures for the season with his latest goal taking his tally to 10 strikes.

In 48 matches, Docherty has now scored 10 goals and provided 11 assists in a successful loan spell down in England.

Steven Gerrard let the former Hamilton Academical midfielder leave Rangers to get game time last summer.

And he has certainly proved his point ahead of his return to Ibrox this summer. Many Rangers fans now want to see him in action next season.
