Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa has a selection dilemma. Ahead of tonight’s play-off semi-final second leg, he is missing his main striker.
Kemar Roofe has picked up a calf injury and will miss the home match against Derby County. Leeds have a one-goal lead thanks to Roofe’s goal at Pride Park.
But they will be missing the 26-year-old in Wednesday night’s second leg as they look to book a place in the Championship play-off final.
This injury blow coincides with the return of Patrick Bamford. He has just served a two-match suspension for deceiving the match officials in the game against Aston Villa.
Bamford’s form has been hit-and-miss for the Whites this season. The 25-year-old has popped up with nine league goals and he will need to be at his best tonight.
But some Leeds fans would rather play Ryan Edmondson. The 17-year-old has been in sensational form for the U23 team and Leeds fans feel he is first-team ready.
The talented teenager has played two games for Leeds this season, totalling just over half an hour of time on the pitch. But here are some Leeds fans calling for Bielsa to promote Edmondson for the Derby match.
Time for the beast, unleash the Edmondson

I would rather us start Edmondson over Bamford against Derby

With Roofe out on Wednesday Bamford will surely start but would love to see Edmondson be given a chance #LUFC hopefully he will be on the bench!
