Tottenham Hotspur trio Dele Alli, Harry Winks and Danny Rose have dropped in value under Jose Mourinho, according to Tim Sherwood.

Spurs parted company with the Portuguese coach on Monday in wake of poor performances and results.

The north Londoners have won just one of their last six games in all competitions and have been knocked out of the Europa League and FA Cup.

In addition, Tottenham remain outside the top six, five points adrift of fourth place, and have dropped 20 points from winning position this season.

Alli and Winks have struggled for game time under Mourinho, while Rose was frozen out of the first-team picture and not even given a squad number.

Sherwood, speaking on Optus Sport, believes that Daniel Levy will have acknowledged that, in terms of market value, the squad Mourinho inherited is now worth less.

“Bale has hardly played, had a run of games; (Carlos) Vinicius has come in and doesn’t play; the rotation has been so poor, and they are so reliant on two players,” said the former Spurs boss.

“The devaluation of Dele Alli, Harry Winks, Danny Rose – an England international without a shirt number.

“When you look at the value of the squad he inherited to the value of the squad he is going to leave, it is a lot less. Daniel will be looking at that.”

Ryan Mason will be in charge of Spurs – who face Southampton in the league on Wednesday and Manchester City in the League Cup final this weekend – until the end of the season.
