Tottenham have enjoyed quite the last few weekends as they’ve completely turned things around in the hunt to snatch a top four place ahead of Arsenal.
After being behind the Gunners for so long, nine goals in two games and two emphatic wins have seen Tottenham put themselves in pole position to make the Champions League places now. This weekend’s win at Aston Villa summed them up of late, as a ruthless display of finishing from Heung-Min Son ensured a 4-0 win.

And according to former Tottenham man, Tim Sherwood, Son is a player Spurs are lucky to have and who young players at the club will be looking up to.
“He’s come to the Premier League, took to it like a duck to water and he’s absolutely fantastic. It’s a pleasure to be a Tottenham fan when you have a player like that in your squad,” Sherwood told Premier League Productions.
“Every single day he goes in there, he’s got experience around the younger players. He gives them all the encouragement, they all look up to him. He’s a leader within that group. You need those people at your football club and he’s a credit.”
Son has now scored the most non-penalty goals in the entire Premier League this season. His hat-trick at the weekend took his tally to six in just the last three games.
TBR’s View: Son Will Go Down As A Tottenham Legend
What a player Heung-Min Son has become. Time and again he seems to produce and with Harry Kane next to him, there aren’t many better twosomes in world football.
Under Conte, Son seems to have been given a new lease of life and the goals are flowing more freely than ever. His finishing has improved it seems, and his confidence is up.
If Spurs make the top four, then Son will rightfully get the biggest stage to showcase his talents next season.
