‘Tight’: Peter Crouch has now predicted who’s going to win – Arsenal or Man City

Arsenal face Manchester City this weekend in what should be one of the games of the season in the Premier League.

The Gunners head into this game knowing that a win would potentially put them in the box seat in this title race. However, a defeat would leave them with a serious mountain to climb.

As we all remember, this match was Arsenal’s undoing last season as City began to run away with the league after a 4-1 victory at the Etihad, and now, Arsenal will want to put things right.

So, how will this game go? Well, as ever, Peter Crouch has put his neck on the line on his podcast and tried to predict the result here.

The pundit shared how he thinks this game will go.

“I’m going to go with Manchester City on this one, but I think it will be tight. I think it will be another one of those classic games, I think the Liverpool game was such a great advert for the Premier League, and I hope this game is the same, this is two great teams to watch, I just think City are too strong personally at home, so I’m going to go with a 2-1 City win,” Crouch said.

Tight

Usually, in any home game, you would say that Man City head into the match as heavy favourites.

However, when you consider Arsenal’s recent form and two key injuries to John Stones and Kyle Walker, the script may well be flipped here.

Arsenal have as good a chance as ever to get a result here, and we wouldn’t be surprised at all if Mikel Arteta’s side turned Pep Guardiola’s men over.

Of course, this game could also be a draw – a result that would suit Liverpool to a tee.

Regardless of how this one ends up, this should be an exciting game.
