‘Thuram in exchange?’ – Liverpool fans react as Marko Grujic is linked with Monchengladbach

Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic has been linked with a move away from Anfield, with Borussia Monchengladbach apparently keen on landing the Serbian star.

Reports surfacing from Mozzartsport suggest that ‘Gladbach want to sign the 24-year-old, who is due back at Anfield following two successful years with Hertha Berlin.

Grujic is widely expected to be someone who Jurgen Klopp looks to sell. Especially, as midfield competition is so high at the Merseyside outfit.

For Grujic himself, another move back to Germany might be welcomed. At 24, he needs to get his career properly up and running and if it means a move, then so be it.

Liverpool, too, could benefit. Respected journalist Ronan Murphy claims the Reds may pocket around £18m for the midfielder. That fee, of course, could well go towards landing new players.

So, with news of Grujic potentially being on his way, Liverpool fans have been reacting online to the news.
