Jamie Carragher noticed Hugo Lloris was absolutely fuming after Tottenham Hotspur conceded in the first-half against Newcastle United on Sky Sports today.
Spurs got off to a decent start in the game and went close through Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son in the first half an hour.
But two mistakes from Lloris led to Eddie Howe’s men going into half-time with a 2-0 lead. The Frenchman rushed out to claim the ball in the 31st minute but Callum Wilson got the better of the Spurs goalkeeper and finished calmly.
Lloris was outraged that the goal wasn’t ruled out by VAR and Carragher noticed his reaction after the goal was given.

Lloris fuming after Newcastle goal
Speaking on Sky Sports’ coverage of the game, Carragher spotted Lloris walking back towards his goal with his arms in the air.
He said: “The goalkeeper’s walking back towards his goal towards his own supporters with his arms out as if it’s a poor decision, what can I do?
“He should’ve dealt with it a lot better, there’s no doubt about that.”

Lloris also played a part in Miguel Almiron’s goal as he played a poor pass towards Ryan Sessegnon. The ball was intercepted and Miguel Almiron went on to skip past Clement Lenglet and finish underneath the Frenchman from a difficult angle.
And Carragher said that he thought the Tottenham man should have done better.
“The goalkeeper throws his arms out again,” he said.
“But I think you should do better again, Hugo.”
Spurs did get back into the game as Harry Kane scored a real poacher’s effort in the 54th minute.
Heung-Min Son’s corner was flicked on by Clement Lenglet and Kane arrived at the back post to head home.
But Conte’s men couldn’t manage to find an equaliser and rounded off a disappointing week with their first loss at home this season.
