Hal Robson-Kanu
Robson-Kanu, like pretty much all of his international team mates, has been impressive in France and shown the world what a class player he is.
And it’s rather timely for Hal, as his current, or shall we now say former club Reading took the decision to not renew the striker’s contract at the end of the domestic season, and are probably regretting that decision now.
Scoring the winning goal in Chris Coleman’s men’s opening game against Slovakia was a great start to his tournament, but his sensational control, Cruyff turn and controlled finish to put Wales 2-1 up against Belgium in the Quarter Finals will have to go down as one of the goals of the tournament and will be revered for years.
With no club to return to after Wales’ EURO adventure, Robson-Kanu will definitely secure a move of some kind this summer, but a number of Premier League clubs are vying for his signature, not least defending champions Leicester City.
That would be a sensational move for Robson-Kanu giving it supplies Champions League football, but there may be doubts as to how much playing time he would get at the King Power.
But no matter where he ends up, he will be an asset to his club.
