They have achieved this, for the most part, without Harry Kane
Kane is the Spurs pin-up boy, and it’s not hard to see why.
In both of his last two full seasons in a Spurs shirt, Kane has scored 32 goals in all competitions each year – proving to some doubters he had twelve months ago that he was simply a ‘one-season’ wonder.
Kane has been missing for nearly half of all Spurs games so far this season, returning last weekend against Arsenal after a seven week lay-off.
Over this time period, in the league, Spurs won two and drew three – making an argument that with Kane in the side, this points haul of eight would have been improved.
With Kane back in the side expect Spurs to kick on going into the New Year (even talking about an unbeaten side ‘kicking on’ shows how far Spurs have come in recent times).
