Three ways Liverpool could line up with Lucas Moura next season

Brazilian flair

Adding Lucas Moura would mean another Brazilian name in Liverpool’s squad, joining Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho and Lucas Leiva, and Moura could join Firmino and Coutinho in Liverpool’s front three.

But there would be much more to this trio than just a mutual nationality, and the three players could complement each other perfectly. Coutinho possesses the skill and vision to unlock defenders, cutting inside and shooting from distance. Firmino would get up in support of the striker, in this case Divock Origi, using his close control and excellent finishing to occupy the centre, whilst Moura would hug the touchline, adding pace to the midfield.

The three Brazilians share enough similarities to gel, but are different enough to be unpredictable. Behind a strong centre forward like Origi, who has both the pace and strength to occupy both centre backs, they would have plenty of room to express themselves and create chances. This could be a likely regular line up if Moura were to join.
