Dominic Solanke – Chelsea

With reports coming from the London Evening Standard that Solanke is set to leave Chelsea after the club refused to match his wage demands of £50,000, the striker, who has spearheaded the Blue’s youth team to domestic and European success, may find himself at Liverpool in the summer.

As a home-grown, under-23 player, Chelsea would be entitled compensation of up to £8 million for Solanke, but Klopp and Liverpool could view that as a good investment. The player possesses a fantastic finishing ability as well as a natural instinct for positioning and ‘being in the right place, at the right time’ – a trait all the best forwards possess.
