Christian Eriksen hitting form

The magician from Denmark racked up his 10th and 11th assists of the season at the Cottage, five more than any of his team-mates. He already has just two less than he did by the end of last season and his partnerships with Kane and Alli are flourishing. In their 2-0 win over Chelsea last month, Eriksen provided the crosses for both of Alli’s goals and did the same for Kane’s first two in their fifth-round tie. Equally capable on left or right foot, the Dane is Tottenham’s creative hub and anything positive in attack normally involves him. He is chief of set-pieces, which makes him another crucial cog in Tottenham’s team. It’s taken a few seasons for him to fulfil his potential but now he’s repaying the faith shown in him since his move from Ajax and is among the best of the attacking midfielders in England. If he continues to supply the service to Kane and co. then the ongoing trophy drought at White Hart Lane will end sooner rather than later.
