Three things we learnt from Middlesbrough's 2-1 victory over Sunderland
It was the first Tees-Wear derby in the league since 2009 and Middlesbrough managed to defeat their North East rivals on their own patch.
They are the promoted side that are seen as the most likely to stay up and this performance justified the hype. It was an excellent away display and they already look like a Premier League side.
Aitor Karanka has got them well-organised and the addition of Alvaro Negredo has given them a focal point in attack.
