Claudio Bravo is yet to convince
It may be harsh to blame Bravo for much of City’s demise at Celtic Park given the fortunate nature of two of the Hoops strikes, and the quality of the third leaving him with no chance, but the fact remains that Bravo still has some way to go before he can justify his arrival.
Replacing Joe Hart was never going to be easy, but six games into his time at the Etihad the Chile national team captain has managed just two clean sheets and is averaging one goal conceded per game, up against sides of the quality of Bournemouth, Swansea and, perhaps harshly, Celtic.
When City come up against much more clinical sides in attack, such as his former club Barcelona in the Champions League next month, Bravo will have to up his game if he is to be the keeper that Pep Guardiola requires.
