Moussa Dembele is a real talent

Signed from Fulham in the summer, Dembele has now scored five goals in six games for the Hoops as he looks set to become the most prolific striker at Celtic Park since Gary Hooper. The 20-year-old’s brace up against top quality opposition in the form of City has only helped his credentials further.

The Frenchman showed striker’s instinct, and an awful lot of luck, with his first goal, bundling home on the line, and continually made life difficult for the City backline with his pressing and pace.

The forward’s second goal was the talking point though, and whilst he was lucky to receive such time and space from the English side’s backline, he showed composure, confidence and skill to perform an overhead kick and send his effort flying past Claudio Bravo into the bottom corner.
