Three things we learnt from Chelsea’s 3-0 thumping of Leicester City

Victor Moses still has a role to play for Chelsea

For a number of years, it had seemed that Victor Moses’ Chelsea career was over. Loan spells at the likes of Liverpool and Stoke struggled to show any sign of talent that the Blues would be missing out on if they were to let him go for good, and this summer it seemed that the club were struggling to even sell him.

Recently though, Conte has turned to the 25-year-old as his right wing back and Moses has shone. Impressing against Hull City last weekend and then scoring as he once again looked comfortable in his new position against Leicester City, Moses may have found himself a new role at the club.

There will be little doubt that Conte will want to sign a more natural fit for the position, but given that Moses has at least two and a half months to show what he can do before the transfer window re-opens, he might just have rescued his career at the club in the new look system.
