A good weekend for Chelsea

The weekend turned out to be an incredibly successful one for Chelsea as they continue to lead the title race.

Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham all dropped points allowing Antonio Conte’s side to extend their advantage in the table to eight points over second-placed Arsenal. The Italian has reinvigorated the current Chelsea squad and it is difficult to see anyone stopping them from being crowned Champions in May due to the quality of their play and winning momentum.

However, The Blues face Liverpool and Arsenal in their next two Premier League fixtures and you sense that they would have to fail to win both games in order to give their title contenders any real hope of overturning The Blues’ current advantage.
