It’s been a few years since the Emirates has had a player of this stature, yet Laurent Koscielny is really maturing into a complete defender for Arsene Wenger.

Although he wasn’t tested as much as in previous weeks against Everton and Manchester City, Koscielny helped Arsenal record their first clean sheet in nine Premier League matches and ensured that they continued their unbeaten home record this campaign.

He made 100% of his tackles attempted on Boxing Day, also contributing five interceptions and five clearances as he kept West Brom forward Rondon extremely quiet.
