Chelsea are flowing in confidence, and Eden Hazard in particular
Eden Hazard may well have been bullied throughout the first half with foul after foul on the winger as United did not allow him a moment’s peace but he still stood out as one of the star performers in the first 45 minutes.
His movement and skill on the ball showed the exact kind of confidence that seemed to disappear last season and was replicated by the likes of Willian who also shone in Chelsea’s attack as their interchanging positions and movement ran rings around the United defence.
With Chelsea seemingly so confident of victory in every game they play, you certainly wouldn’t bet against the Stamford Bridge outfit from bringing the double back to west London given their 11 point lead in the Premier League and place in the FA Cup semi-final against Tottenham.
