It was a bad day at the office for Xhaka

The £35 million summer signing had one to forget at the Emirates, at fault for the first Swansea goal and then getting sent off later on. Unfortunate for the Swiss international, as he was just becoming a real regular in the team and now faces a suspension.

Xhaka, before his sending off, had played well going forward, with 93% of his passes reaching a team-mate. Defending however was causing him issues, with only 25% of his tackles successful. The midfielder will be hoping for a better time of it in the Champions League in mid-week.
