Since the signing of Shkodran Mustafi, the Arsenal back-four have been in impressive form. Three clean sheets in a row in all competitions, and a goals record all season of only conceding seven goals, while scoring 16. The fluency and pace of Wenger’s side have caught the eye during the campaign, especially in recent fixtures against Chelsea and FC Basel, but the defending has been solid, allowing the Gunners to have a very impressive platform to build on.
