A season to forget for West Ham supporters

This has been a season to endure rather than enjoy for West Ham fans. In many ways, it has been a case of one step forward, two steps back.

The controversial move to the London Stadium and the issues with security that plagued certain sections of supporters have overshadowed the campaign, along with the Dimitri Payet transfer saga.

With 33 points already on the board, there is no danger of the Hammers being relegated, but they are now without a Premier League victory in four matches. Manager Slaven Bilic will already be looking forward to the end of the season when he can rebuild the squad following the arrival of a few questionable signings last summer.

Andy Carroll’s future is bound to be a topic of discussion following reported interest from the Chinese Super League in the January transfer window.
